Ingersoll Day - August 11

Robert Green Ingersoll (1833-1899) is an important name within the freethought community. His work continues to inspire the inquiring mind and inject reason within a world riddled by superstition. For many, Ingersoll is deserving of a special remembrance day and on August 11, rationalists from far and wide come together to celebrate his contributions to humankind.
